Just get a different 5th gear like the .71, .75, or .80.

According to Autotech's website:

Note: the transmission does not have to be removed from the vehicle to
install these 5th gear conversions. Access to the 5th gears and the end cap
of the transmission is gained via the left fenderwell. The 5th gear
conversion can usually be performed in about 3 to 4 hours for a "first-timer."
I have the .71 in my 4K tranny and on the freeway do 80 at about 3200RPMs.
