Re: Was: 1.8T conversion Now: MkI options.



Not that I have a ton of cash to dump-   but I look at it another way.   If I
were to buy a new car, I would be looking at 15-20 thousand.  There is no new
car that would be able to touch the performance of a 1,800 lb 300 hp MK1 in
even the 25- 40 price range.  So.... Here i am with no car payments, no full
coverage insurance and the desire for a bit of exotic and a love for VW
Sciroccos (MK1's).    Not being a mechanic, i will look for a company to do
this for me- and it may cost me 10,000 ,and my girlfriend (she wants a ring- i
want a car) .  But in the end I should be able to come out with a decent car,
tons of power, and i can always find another girlfriend.   :^)
