problems again

here's the deal this time on the 86 16v. car had small hesitation, replaced 
cap, rotor and sparkplugs. then 2 days later, horrible hessitaion and misfire 
kind of like in the e mail titled "vw problem gurus". i checked the fuel pump 
relay and put the jumper wire on the relay and the problem continued. the 
relay was hot so i figured the fuel pump was going out. bought a brand new 
bosch fuel pump and installed it. it ran fine while i warmed it up to 80 deg 
celcius. i drove it hard for about 5 miles to see if the problem was still 
there. it was gone. i parked the car for about an hour and tried it again. as 
i was pulling out it went fine up till about 5k then just died. it tired to 
re-start it but to no avail. it will not start.
there is no fuel getting to the injectors. there i sule going into the fuel 
distibutor. there is pressure on the warm up regulator. just no fuel going to 
the injectors. what should i do now?
