According to the latest Crutchfield book I have, all the Kenwood eXcelon
(mask) CD receiver have a depth of 6 5/8" .  On the fitment page, it states
the Scirocco 16v has a max stereo input depth of 6 1/8".

Might I recommend the Infinity Kappa 462.1cf series for your side doors.
These speakers are...well....the shit!  The come with built in tweeters to
hit those high notes without distortion. Nice, they are.

For the amplified, compact (space saving) subwoofer series, let us move down
the aisle and look at the Kenwood KSC-WA100 Powered 10" subwoofer (if you
want to stay Kenwood).  It's not very powerful, but if you don't plan to
"share" your music with the entire city, then it should suffice.  It
measures 12" W x 12 11/16" H x 20 1/2" D.  It's a powered subwoofer so you
don't need to connect the amp, but it only puts out a max of 60 watts.  $299
and it's yours!

Now, let us look at a Pioneer series subwoofer of the same price :) *drool*
The EL Amplified Bazooka also features a 10" subwoofer BUT look at all you
get with it! *curtains part a la "The Price is Right* :)

10 3/8" W x 21 3/4" L x 12 1/2" H [sure it's slightly taller than the
Kenwood KSC, but it's slimmer to fit in those tight spots :)]
