All i have to say is go with Kenwood for the head unit!  There are a few 
companies that will make a better head unit, but for price and quality, 
Kenwood is the only way to go!  I have a krc-ps655 model kenwood eXcelon 
tape deck flip down face with cd changer controls.  This is the best radio 
that i have ever owned.  I have had a few different kenwoods in my GTI and 
GLI.  IMHO Kenwood ROCKS!
