Clutch problems

i am looking at a 1986 scirocco 16v, and while i was driving it i noticed tht 
when you put the clutch pedal in after hard acceleration the engine jumps.  
other than that he clutch works fine, no plippge or noises, i was just 
wondering if anything like that happened to any of you.  thanks
