Your question from yesterday about the pads on Vented
rotors - I had a thought when I was on my way home
from work.  If you remove the caliper completely from
the vehicle, and empty the fluid in the caliper
resivoir (around the piston) you can use a big C clamp
or pipe clamp and press the piston all the way back
into the caliper. It should be flush with the caliper.
 Be careful not to screw up the dust boots.  Then your
pads should fit fine.  I put on brand spankin new
vented rotors and brand new pads, and the caliper
slipped on quite easily.
