I had a HÖR G-grind cam which went flat. I did the installation as per
the instructions and even went over the minimum run time at 2,000 rpms
just to be sure it would be a good cam. I heard rumors that the HÖR cams
were made of a softer alloy and tended to go flat after a couple years.
Right on schedule, my cam went flat on the #2 exhaust lobe. They do offer
a lifetime warranty and I will warranty the thing and just sell it off.
Id rather have peace of mind with another cam maker than deal with
replacing the cam every couple years.

Also, it pays to keep your parts receipts. Autotech said they don't keep
any records of previous purchases. They do manage to keep my address tho,
amazingly enough. I found my receipt and will be returning the deadbeat
cam to them, one of these days.
Autotech sucks.
