I would agree with you as a general statement but since I know how Randy
will be using his car, I know the added benefit of the closer ratio is
well worth having the system on the car. Ive been in many situations
(Racing or Autox) where I simply cant turn the wheel fast enough.
Especially after having driven the Pottermans rocco on the autox course
before and after P/S installed, P/S makes a huge difference.
At the same time, I would like to be able to get out of my driveway every
morning and not have to put my cup of coffee down to turn the wheel. I
like my coffee that much. :)

I run 15X7 wheels with the usual 195/50R15 tires and a smaller diameter
steering wheel. Steering is stiff. It definately takes 2 hands to turn
the wheel at a stop or going very slowly. Im over 30, I deserve P/S!

Its not the effort as much as it is in the added benefit of the better
steering ratio.
