Fw: Intake hose?

It actually doesn't suck any exhaust into the intake. There is a shroud
around the downpipe that that hose connects to. This way, when it's cold, it
draws the cold air over the exhaust to warm it and it sucks this warmed air
into the intake. This system is on the car simply to aid with cold starts
and running during the short time after you start the engine until it fully
warms up.
