Subject: voltage drop

For those of you with a voltmeter in car and are running high wattage H4
lights. I am seeing a voltage drop when I turn on my lights. I don't
know if this is normal because I never noticed it before. I have relayed
H4 lights in my MK1 and when I turn them on I noticed the needle drop to
just above the 12 line. Without the lights on Im at the normal 13 or
higher. I'm just wondering if I might have a short or something. My
alternator is new. 6 months old at most. Any ideas?
