Re: Rear Axle Beam!

Peter,

Glad to see that I was thinking along the same lines as you are. Here's
what I plan to do and I'm almost there.

-Complete Scirocco 16V brakes
-22mm m/c, brake booster, and the two propotioning valves at the m/c (are
there any others?)
-Stainless steel brake lines up front and in the rear.
-New oem rotors with mintex redbox pads
-I'll be using the Rabbit rear axle, sandblast it and fit the brakes on it
prior to installing it on the car.
-16V e-brake lines

The following are items which I'm not sure whether I need to fit onto the
Mk1 rocco.
-16V e-brake handle
-16V pedal cluster (can I merely retain the original one)

Thanks for any suggestions or criticism.

Sal Guzzo
