The design process of the MK2 was complex. GG did not design the car in the
end.
GG did get involved in the final MK2 work but it was in the middle of the
process.
GG's MK2 design was rejected in favor of a "VW DESIGN."
GG's BMW design was used as an inspiration for the MK2.
Then GG was asked to pen the VW effort and clean up the work.
