Youll
be happy if your realistic on what youre expecting. I was expecting a dramatic
difference between my 1.8 and 2.0. I was disappointed. I had the head ported and
polished and put my euro cam in with my TT racing downpipe no cat and cat back
exhaust, its not as fast as I thought it would be. Its not a dramatic power like
the peaky 1.8, its more like a steady stream. BradleyPs 1.8 I think would take
me no problem but I dont know, it just doesnt pull as hard as my 1.8 did. What
you will LOVE about the 2.0 is driving it around town, the torque is so nice.
You can cruise in 4th gear at 2K rpm and the motor is perfectly happy. Cruising
at 70mph on the highway you have real good passing power without needing to
downshift. Youll also love how quickly it starts and how quiet it is (my lifters
were horrible loud even after I replaced them), i love how smooth and quiet it
is. Be thankful your not doing the swap yourself, I had a week to gather all the
parts including the motor and 2 days to do the complete swap since this car is
my only means of transportation. Too hard and stressful. Overall i am happy with
it, not impressed but happy.
Thank you for your time.
