Brake update and paint (ORANGE?)

Hey all,
Finally found a little time to do the brake lines on
the roc today. Easy job 1 hour for the whole car. If
anyone's planning on replacing your metal lines I've
got a few tips for ya.
1. Get a double flair kit. Fortunatly I had one in
the box but be sure to know, single flairs will not
work. I spent over an hour today explaining to my
brother the difference and another 30 mins setting up
a test so he could see the results himself.

2. Don't get stainless steel lines. Sure their
stronger, but they're difficult to bend without
kinking. Instead, get alloy line. Stuff bends
easily, is difficult to kink, and is easy on the
flairing tool.
It costs about $11 per meter at your local v-dub
dealer(they keep it in bulk) I got mine for $2 per
meter from a friend at the local parts store:)

3. after you put in the line and bleed the system, go
around all the connections with a can of brake
cleaner. Let it dry and have someone stand on the
brake pedal. Go to all your conections and makesure
you don't have any leaks. Watch closely as slow leaks
may take a while to drip but must be fixxed.

Paint- Does anyone know the paint code for Nepal
Orange? I'm currently debating on this or a tri-color
scheme of red, yellow, and black(German Flag)
Tri-color would be neat, but a definite cop magnet.
Orange would be fun since I haven't seen anything even
remotely similar around here. I've gotta find
something to make her stand out. The last one was
primer with sharks teeth painted on the front. Time
for a new less aggressive yet noticable paint...
