Volkswagen Marine, a new Volkswagen project, is introducing the
direct injection diesel engine, a principle that has proved highly
successful road vehicles. Volkswagen Marine's TDI and SDI engines have
been specially constructed as inboard sports-boat engines in a variety
of engine-size and power output stages ranging from 33kw (45hp) to
111kw (150hp) - a completely new generation of marine engines from
Volkswagen.
