Two things;

The Horn button in the middle is comprised of two main parts; the rubber
portion you see that has the Wolfsburg crest on it and the underlying
plastic ring w/ copper contact pads and rebound springs.
You'll need the whole setup for a workable horn button.
It's this later portion (the ring) that is problematic in that they
often have broken posts and therefore end up getting stuck when you work
the horn.

Second thing is I'm going California Mud Wading in the Pick n' Pull
tomorrow so I'll keep my weather eye out for ya.
