It _has_ been mentioned a ton or two but there is no real need to
replace the dual crank pulley, just ignore the now redundant second
pulley. Replacing the waterpump pulley is the easy thing to do.

The Potterman will be able to get you a pulley, I had a Scirocco and
Rabbit GTI to work with so it was 'plug n' play'. What your after is an
inverse pulley.
