You can send em to the finest schools (Well, maybe not.) and graduate
cumelaudasomeshit and STILL, gets the basics wrong. (And mom STILL loves
me more Eric!)  LOL!!

No 8V Scirocco ever came with the 16v lower stress bar. 
Also, its not legal because you must use STOCK mounting points and since
the 8V scirocco doesn't have the 2 holes for the rear of the 16v
stressbar, its not legal. (You cant drill holes for stressbar's. Its in
the rule book, really.) 

If you know for fact that im completely wrong, by all means, hook me up
with the documents to prove this so I can take advantage of the 16v bar.
Ive researched this extensively and have only learned of the rabbit
convertibles getting the 16v bar other than 16v vw's.
