Fw: Drum brake problem

You should also check the piece that goes in between the shoes. I have done
this and seen others do it. It sometimes doesn't slide into the slot like it
is suppose to do. I hope I am thinking of the right brake system when I say
this. I believe the adjuster in in the center just below the w/c right?
Anyway, if that piece isn't in it's slot in the shoe, the shoes will stick
out farther and cause a tight fit or no fit at all. Plus, like Chris said,
the P-brake cable can sometimes cause this if it is too tight. I usually
loosen that up first if I notice it is pretty tight!! HTH!!
