Re: tranny's

The 020 AVX is from the ECO diesel 1.6. The final drive is 4.25. I was
told that I could put this into a AGB, but the diameter of the spline for
the fourth gear is about 3mm smaller than the pinion shaft off of the AGB.
The Bentley shows the AGB and the 2Y as having identical ratios even the
final drive. There must be a difference between these two tranny's. I'm
hoping that the AVX and the 2Y tranny's were built about the same time and
that they changed that spline diameter on both. That is why I need to know
what YEARS these tranny's were in production. Anyone? Please?

Got to be done before the N.D.show
