Green loctite



RE: the oil squiter fasteners.  yes there is green loctite.  You probably 
paid dealer mark-up.  It is low viscosity and is supposed to sick into 
thread voids.  It doesn't set up as rigidly as the blue or red and 
resists turning out; ie it doesn't break free all at once, IME.  If you 
diced to use, I'd make a couple of squrts with brake cleaner/q-tip.  
Dunno how well it'll work if you don't have gravity assist.  BTW, I 
haven't used it on anything as critical as oil squirters.

RE:  water leaks.

As mentioned before, I had leaks from wires run through firewall onto 
fusebox/ground connections.  Insidious and found only after having 
windshield sealed 2x.  Good luck.

RE: Lowering caps

Any interset in group buy?  At the right price, I might be interested.
Maybe one of the "most-favored-vendors" could investigate?
