I just want to second the opinion on the H&R lower springs with Boge
Turbogas being a good inexpensive but decent combo.  I think the
package will be right around $390, but as someone else mentioned,
please replace the strut bearings at the same time, that adds about
$50.   This exact set up is on Jim Jarretts convertible, and it
drove pretty damn well...from what I remember!  Jims car has been
off the road since, um, 1998 was it Jim? ;p
