I can say that I have had my fair share now of dealing with insurance
companies and totaling sciroccos.  All I can say is "DONT GIVE IN". Keep
fighting and fighting. I did and eventually got them to change their
estimate from 1800 to 5100. It took receipts, showing them I had a website
in devotion to my car, and pointing out that I couldnt find a comparable
car for what they were offering. Ask them to show you where you can get
the SAME EXACT car for what they want to give you. They wont be able to. 

I can also tell you that any mods done to your car over 1 year ago will
not be taken into consideration at all. And some companies dont care about
mods period. But you can try, especially if you have receipts...I hope for
your sake that you do.

And if they do total your car insist on buying it back no matter what.
