Haha.  Yeah, well here's the story.

I had a 96 Hyudai Elantra three years ago.  Within 5 days, I had fipped and totalled it.  So I bought the Prelude and got "into" cars.  I loved the Prelude, but it got a bit of attention from the cops, and I got a few tickets (only 3 moving violations, but still).  Anyhow, everything seemed fine until a few months ago when my insurance company told me that my rates were going up - 200%.  I was paying $300/month on a 92 Prelude SI.  I didn't think it was worth it regardless of whether I could afford it or not.  The further encourage me to sell, the Suspension Techniques rear antisway bar on the Prelude had actually put stress cracks on the frame!  I had it welded, but from then on, I didn't really trust it.  Additionally, it had 125k miles on it, and it would only get harder to sell when I went to go buy my new car (WRX?).  So I sold it.

I picked up the Scirocco 16v from a friend for $500 with a broken clutch cable.

Anyhow, that's my story.
