Yes, the kit was an option here from VW.
U.S.A.-list  member Doug Teulie took one home
when visiting me in May.

On some of my Sciroccos I had a moulded
spare place for it in the trunk ( on the left-side inner wall )
some other Sciroccos didn't have it.

I also will have to look in ETKA for those different sidewalls.

I still have the original VW-brochure with pricelist for my 1992,
and there is it mentioned as an option :
"Verbandskasten- und Warndreieckhalterung  = 34 DM"
that means
" emergency kit -and emergency triangle attachment ( $15)"
so it was the absolut cheapest upgrade on the whole list :-))

  i was at the dealership delivering parts and asked about a couple of
things. while they were accessing the etka cd, i saw that there was a
first aid kit for the trunk of the scirocco. anyone ever seen one? i'm
thinking it's european option (dirk?). i'd like to purchase one (or a
couple) of these with the necessary mounting hardware if anyone can
direct to one. thanx.
