I think some of you are out of line when "commenting" on these cars.  Sure,
everybody is entitled to their opinion, but also try to think about all the
hard work and money that was spent on these projects.  I bet 95% of the
members on this list don't have what it takes to build a truly custom car -
they just bolt on the latest goody from Neuspeed or Autotech and think
they've created something unique.

While I don't personally agree with the color choices, I can appreciate the
engineering and just plain hard work that went into mating a Mk1 Scirocco, a
Rabbit pickup, and a Vanagon...  not to mention synchronizing engine speeds,
etc.  And how about creating the rear decklid on the Mk2 Convertible?  Or
the top support bows, pivot points, windshield latches, etc?  Reinforcing
the chassis?  None are easy projects

The guy gets a thumbs up from me...   paint 'em one solid "normal" color and
you get two thumbs up

I don't think anyone is doubting his dedication and hard work, I for one have
to admire the time,.effort, and skill it took to put that together. But, that
still doesn't change the fact that I think it looks like a Pinto wagon.
