I ran these tires for almost one year....they had excellent treadwear,
however the great treadwear also gave a harsh ride.  Gave them to a friend
who has been running them on his GTI for over two years with no complaints
(they still look good).  I opted for the Nittos which has less treadwear but
is stickier.
