TT front mount is breaking!!!

I have gone through TWO (2) TT front mounts (the HD ones) on my 84 GTI in the 
last 6 months. the first one totaly tore out of the mounting bracket, and the 
second one (which is still on the car) has a large crack in it. what the hell 
is going on??? TT was kind enough to replace the first one at no charge, 
saying it was probably a defective mount, but the second one is tearing apart 
after only 3 months??? These are the mods on my car, maybe they will give a 
clue:

early 4/2 manifold with TT downpipe, gutted cat, 2.25 custom cat back with 
supertrapp
all new TT motor mounts
neuspeed sport springs
bilstein sports all around
