I don't know what the universal product is either, but I use them. I just
can't justify $200 for an O2 sensor. As for it being Bosch, what's in a
name? Generally, I love Bosch and go for all Bosch when possible. I don't
know that there are many companies with that same aura of excellence around.
Except that sometimes companies change their standards for products.

Don't misread this next statement; I am not saying that Bosch has done that
overall. But I did read a report that stated that Bosch had downgraded the
quality of their oil filters, so I don't feel comfortable using Bosch oil
filters.

It would be nice if we could get some type of general 'top quality' parts
consensus and put it on the List site. Like what are considered top quality
oil filters and so forth. I realize, though, that could open the door to
endless posts and decision-making, so perhaps it's just better that we not??
Oh well.....

But I will ask people this - who do you feel makes the top quality battery?
I am interested in buying the best I can from now on.

You know what? This List rocks. I see a Scirocco in Richmond about once
every season. But with the List it's like I have them all around me...

Thanks,
PK
