Re: Dyno ?s

since i have a lot of experience driving the cars ont eh dyno i will tell
you what is up

here ya go man hope this helps

first a good set of sticky tires, leave teh 17's on when the peopel do the
dyno setup they should if capable run for parasitic loss, frictional loss
formt eh tires and such, the sticky the tire the better grip tot eh rollers
it does nto matter tire size it is the contact that counts that is what puts
the power down ....
check for proper tire pressure first before startign
i have always down dyno runs in 3rd gear that is the best for tuning, i
have always been told and thru out the maybe 75-100 times i have drivin cars
on the dyn i have never used anyother gear except to do a 1.4 mile tiest and
top speed runs.....
also when usign tec-2 every rpm range is used,
also please have a fullt ank of gas it sucks to run out of gas ont eh dyn i
have seen it happen and it is not a pleasant sight cvaause you will be
wasting your tuning time adn teh techs tiem, and you do get chartged at some
places for time depending on teh reson for the dyn use
the best gas for the 16v engine is 91 or higher in my area 92 -94 at most
pumps, and 98 at 2 local stations
a/f guage will be handy as well as c/o mixture tool adn you will want to
play with teh advance/retard of the timing
