alignment and wiper arm questions...

Hello all,

Two basic questions.

1.  My driver's side wiper arm has this airfoil looking thing attached.  How
do I remove it?  The arm's looking beat from stone chips and I would like to
refurbish/respray both wiper arms.

2.  My '84 is in need of an alignment for basic street use.  Can any local
alignment place can do a decent job, or should I search out someone special?
