I do, I do!

not yet.

In what class. I thought that internal engine mods were not allowed in SP,
where I also thought our cars are most competitive. Let me know if you know
otherwise, as I'd be interested in knowing more about this.

Didn't read it, but there are very few cons. Pro's are that it's cheaper to
set up, cheaper to fix, gobs of power, and difficult to notice (for the
visual smog inspection in Cali). One con is that with the taller block, you
have more mass in the rods, so spin up time is slower. I have a lightened
flywheel to counteract the effect, and it's really nice.

>How did you deal with the rain tray and stress bar interferences?

I didn't have any big problems in that area. I have a Neuspeed stressbar,
and the throttle cable just gently rubs along the bottom.
For the raintray, The back end of the throttle cable attachment contacts it,
I bent it about 1/4" to get clearance, and it should only contact if the
engine rocks heavily. This is on a MK2 and on your MK1 it might be
different. Worst case is you would have to cut some of it.

LMK if you have any more q's.
