Yup, got it put in and I was surprised to find that the cold 1-2 shift
that *always* ground (unless I was
very very tender with the shifter), didn’t grind at all…

I had a small
leak start when I switched to MTL-- it was a flange seal on one of the
axles. But the switch is definitely worth it because of the better shift
feel... and it should get rid of most of the 1-2 grind.

Not unless you are on some of the wacky Autocross courses some of
the local clubs here setup. Then you'll be happy that a well
adjusted
linkage and a good tranny full of MTL can hit 1st no problem.
