Maybe your car needs shocks?  I had my Scirocco (88 16V) doing 135
(reallll big hill...hehe) and it felt quite stable.  I ran my 89 Scala
in Germany at 120 on the 'Bahns frequently.  If it doesn't feel stable,
I'd say you need new shocks.
