I am pretty sure i can tell you who both of those people were.  I live
in the New Rome-Hilliard area and i know most of the area Scirocco
people.  The silver one was most likely Matt Moskowitz's (sp?)
girlfriend, I remember meeting them last year.  The red one is probably
my mechanic Scott Keenan. He indeed has an '86 16V (good eye!) and you
can be sure it is him because he has a thick mustache and his 16V is the
reddest original red I have ever seen (i am sure he hand rubs the car
almost daily)!
