In the U.S., the 16V steering wheel is the same as the
mk2 8V. (except maybe for the center thingy which may
say something like "Scirocco 16V" or something like
that.

I believe (don't know for sure) that all U.S. 16V came
with the leather version, which came on some MK2 8V
cars (mainly "Wolfsburg Editions").

I don't know a damn thing about the shift knobs - all
my Sciroccos have Golf ball knobs . . .
