mid-engined Mk1

Guys, has anyone checked this mid-engined 16v Mk1 Scirocco out? Tis not
as impressive as the Jabbasport AWD car, but looks pretty rad,
nonetheless. I wonder what transmission it is... -probably an Audi or
Fox 5-speed...

Assuming that one was willing to put up with a big rear trunk, front
mounted fuel cell, an obvious lack of spare parts, etc., it doesn't seem
like this'd be the most difficult project in the world. Seems to me that
the hardest part of it all would be getting the suspension right.

It would be "easiest" to "simply" use the front suspension in the back,
but a real multilink setup would definitely take the platform to a new
level! Does anyone have the mechanical *engineering* background to
comment on the feasiblity of such an endeavor?
