OK, lets see if my car has similar simptoms...someone must know what is
going on here...anyone?
I have a 86 16v that has this similar problem. When the engine is
cold(sitting for over a few hours) it starts and then idles low and
hesitates during the first few minutes of driving. Then, after a few
minutes it runs perfectly and idles great. Sounds like the fuel injector
o-rings to me too, but I replaced them and the problem still remains!!
What is going on? I replaced the largest o-rings...are there others that
need to be changed or something? Could this have something to do with the
fuel pressure? This is very puzzling because the car runs so well once
it's warm. Any further thoughts? It sounds like there are quite a few
that would appreciate any thoughts... TIA
