Sheesh.

My free time has been whittled down to just about nill. (Full-time college,
being the manager of the largest college radio station in CT, a retail job,
and having two bands and a girlfriend)

I have a 1981 Scirocco with a self-installed 16v which isn't running
patiently sitting in my back yard.

My father's starting to have words with me over it.

It's starting to get cold out, and I can't realistically foresee much time
at all which to fix it.

There's this tiny little part of my mind which is actually saying "get rid
of the damn thing...you're broke...your current ride sucks (Oldsmobile)...
etc etc...

Here's the question... Do I continue to deal with my Scirocco, or just get
one that runs right now?

Would anyone here have any interest in my baby?

1981 Light Metallic Blue Scirocco. 87k miles on body.
w/1989 Jetta 16v 1.8l PL engine w/154k miles and 16v 5-spd w/new  clutch,
Full CIS-E computers, fuel inj.. all mods are done. just  needs electrical
wiring completed.
Body has no rot, no rust whatsoever. It does have two small dents on   the
left side (one's right behind the left blinker, other one's      above the
rear wheel arch), and one small (2" dia) dent on right    fender.
Black interior w/vinyl seats in excellent shape.
100mph speedo.
K&N front struts w/Rocco 16v stock springs
Front end is very tight, and handles excellent
13" spider rims with almost brand new Bridgestone Potenza 185/70/13's
No sunroof
Fuba Roof Antenna
Stock rear wiper
Bosch yellow fogs
Red pinstriping (a la "S" models)
Corrado G60 stock steering wheel (nice!)

I'm the third owner and have only contributed 10k miles.

Oh yeah, her name is Winnie.

Currently has electrical problem preventing it from starting.

Any offers? I was thinking in the $2000 range. I've obviously put way more
than this into her so far.

I hate to do this, but I need a running car, and I want it to be a Scirocco.
