Re: help! tie rod



<x-charset iso-8859-1>I use a Craftsman small (6" jaws) gear puller.  Sometimes the rod ends are a
real bitch but I've never seen one that I couldn't get apart.  The little
dimple is in the end of the rod just so this type of puller has a place to
seat.  Last time I replaced my tie rods I had a much harder time getting the
inners off than the outers.  So you have something to look forward to.
