<x-charset iso-8859-1>Last night I went out and found the leak on my car.
the water was pooling because the rear sunroof drains were clogged
on one side.
actually had to pull back the headliner to get to it so that I could
cut a slit in it and take out a SCREW somehow it had become lodged
in the line... patched it with some tape..

look in the back of your Scirocco inside the car under the side panels in
the rear  and find the flexible hoses.. these hoses run up to the back of
the sunroof area and if they are clogged they can cause water to pool
up in the top part of your roof and drip down into your car.
check it out.. its worth a shot..
you will need some kind of stiff wire to run up into the line.. I blew into
mine to see if they were clogged then got some Cat5 ethernet cable and ran
it up the line and it got stuck so it had to be clogged....  shining
a light in there I saw something in the line.. so I pulled the headliner
back removed the hose and there was a screw jammed in it.  took that out
replaced the hose and now its draining to where it should.

Ok...Leak is still there...I am pretty sure its the antenna, but im not
positive...i had a rubber maid container over it to keep some of the water
out, and it seemed like the water kept coming...could this be the water from
before the tub was placed over it, or where else could the leak come from? I
need to remove the headliner, but I am not sure how to do this w/ o ruining
stuff...I dont need the headliner anymore, because it is completely trashed,
but I do need to know how to put a new one in...Also, any suggestions on
what
to use for a headliner? I have heard some interesting ideas...TIA
