@&#! brake bleeder nipples!

While replacing my brakes I went to bleed them. On of the front
calipers, the brake bleeder nipple snapped off. I tried using a screw
extracter to get it out, but the mipple is too soft and I just kept
spinning the extracter. My question is can the nipple be drilled and
tapped? I'm wondering because the bottom of the nipple has that sharp
cone which I figure is for sealing the bleeder when closed. I don't
think I"ll be able to properly drill that out in the caliper? Am I
wrong, or should I go ahead and buy a new caliper? I'll be doing this
tomorrow.

Thanks for any help,
B.
