Timing was off Opps, Kent Pulley installed!

Well, it looks like I've been running one tooth retard for about 2 years
and never really knew it. I always knew my car was a little more into the top
end then most 16v's. So this Friday night I did an install and replacement of
a few parts. Including an new alt and upper radiator hose cause the fan
blades must have gotten hit by something from the road and basically exploded
and cutting through the upper rad house the timing belt cover and my
eurolight wiring harness! all that at 110 mph.
Opps!

Well, my boss finally got new tools and lets me use them now with
confidence. So I decide to put on a new pulley and see if my timing was off
since the motor seemed so top heavy. Well, I found out I was 6 degrees off.
Wow what a difference it makes when the timing is right. Car felt peppy
again! Love it. Only problem is all the new found midrange causes a lot of
wheel spin. I think after SEMA I have to get the car Dynoed again. Expect
that to be up on my site soon to, with the original Dyno tests. I want to see
what this pulley does on the dyno when I mess with the settings. I wonder if
it really can change the curve for autoX. We shall see.

Later all

beast of a car. Oh yeah My Girlfriend wanted to be on it so don't worry about
her PIC on the opening page.
