SV: Scirocco turnout at ND

I haven't seen them but if you want things to look good it's
easy to do that afterwards. Building a turbo motor involves lots
of changes and sometimes a few head gaskets or pistons until you
learnt your lesson. It's no idea to have 100% show finish until
everything works fine.

It's not a problem with the gear box, it's a problem of to
little fuel to the motor making to hot combustion. Tell your
friend either decrease boost or increase fuel. You can drive
fine with to little fuel for short periods but when going just a
second to long things blow or melts. Lucky his pistons didn't
melt. And running that hot combustion's is bad for the turbo.

Making the plumbing to the front doesn't add much lag, maybe a
0,005 seconds, lag is determined by camshaft but mostly size of
the turbine in the turbo, a large compressor part don't do so
much. Saying this from driving my own car with IC in front of
the radiator and very small lag.

Yes, the white roc was the

Bad luck

Sounds like they easily could get some higher numbers, what fuel
system are they using?

Hmm, I think your friend should take a trip to Europe before
making that statement. I think some of the German Scirocco I VR6
turbo will kick these guys asses back over the water.
