New Dimensions trip from the south ?GOT QUESTIONS?

Ian, Shawn and I have our TalkAbout radios. They work great. 
If you have not gotten yours yet you should get one before the trip. 
We will be setting them to channel 5 as we drive up the 5 on Friday.
The hotel reservations are set all for Friday and Saturday.
This is a list of things that you may want to bring.

FRIDAY 5/21/99
Shawn, Kevin F., and any other S.D. folks are heading up the 5.
We meet at the KOO KOO ROO on EL TORO RD just off the 5 at the Laguna Hills
mall.
This is close to the "Y"(405 and 5 meet in Orange County)
Exit the 5 at EL Toro RD from the north or south.
Exit the 5 north. Turn left and go under the 5. You will see it on the
left.
Exit the 5 south. Turn left at the first light. Go one block to El Toro rd 
and you will see it on the right as you cross the street.
7:30 eat dinner and head out at 8:00 PM
Get gas on the way to KOO KOO ROO (you will see a place to get gas). 

We drive up the 5 to the 101 and go to 
Motel 6 in Lompoc

We meet for breakfast in Buelton, 
and drive up the 101.
Stay on 101 north until Atascadero and meet Kris Rayner.
(We need a land mark)
 (the  parking lot 8:30 to 8:45)ß more like 9:20 AM
Take 41 WEST, a very fun and  pretty road to Morro Bay 
where we turn on to HWY 1 and follow the 
coast.Then take  hwy 17 to get over to San 
Jose. Then cruise on up to Santa Clara.

Saturday  night we have a big dinner with the list.
This is the big event. You do not want to miss this!!!
I am thinking of having a RC auto-x.
Keep an eye on this part. It may change.
We just all meet at Chevy's at 6-7ish. Saturday night... hmm, we
might want to get there earlier like 5 O'clock so we can dominate the
parking lot and table situation. 
"Shawn, party of 60 - Shawn, party of 60". 

 Sunday we drive to the Show, drop off the cars.
Then go to breakfast.  

Do the show!
Last year a scirocco took the "Best of show" award.
Bret Erickson showed all of us his beautiful ’82
MK2 Scirocco with a Oettinger motor. 

Sunday night another party!
Then we drive home on the 5.
