225bhp, Quattro and... weighs how much? Like 3500lbs? at least? Maybe talk to
Dale Witt about his Scirocco, which I believe has about 200bhp, no?
... and weighs probably about 2500lbs. Granted, it's FWD, so won't be able to put
the power to the ground in a fashion even close to AWD (I'm a big fan of
Quattro). But still, weight is a big factor. I'm sure that a properly done up
Scirocco could beat a TT, even the 225bhp Quattro. And on the AutoX course, heck
I bet my old '84 Rabbit GTI could beat the TT. It's all about weight.
    All that said, no Scirocco is ever going to be AWD (well, that's debatable...
I've actually seen a Quattro Scirocco) and as stable as a TT. And all that extra
weight does do some good things, like for chassis stiffness and robustness.
