Take off that inner CV joint... you'll see that the little round cap seal in the
center of the drive flange probably has a hole machined through the center. Get
another one and put it in. It'll last you about a year, probably, and then it will
happen again. Why does this happen? I don't really know, but somehow the end of the
CV shaft machines a hole through the center of that cap over time. Shove the cap as
far back in as you can get it, is the only thing I can say. I kindof wonder if this
is more prone to happen on lowered cars, since the CV gets shoved further in on
lowered cars. (Control arms come up, shortening the distance between the hub and
the drive flange).
