[TECH][Suspension install]

I am getting ready to install my Boge Turbogas shocks and Neuspeed sport
springs this weekend. I got new bumpstops, and strut bearings to go along
with it. I heard I should cut a little off of each bumpstop when installing
them. Anyone ever do this? Good idea? Any other suggestions? TIA!
