Re: Mk1 cluster securing?



That's right, i remember seeing that. 
Do you know how I should go about using that thing?
I guess bolting thru the mount into the back of the stereo itself?
I guess I'll give her a try, but that's a pretty tight spot to get to. 
(ie. legs over driver's seat, neck twisted downwards) BTW, that position 
is not recommended for the "sexing in your rocco" handbook.

The early Sciroccos have a place back behind the radio to mount a bolt
type fastener. It's part of the firewall (or bulkhead for all you
seamen).  This would be something to help keep the radio in longer, but
more damage to the surrounding dash until they give up.  :(
